Can I use my own existing s-fold tracks with your s-fold curtains?
There are many different styles of S-Fold tracks, and our S-Fold curtains are specifically designed to work with our S-Fold track system. The curtain hooks and gliders are matched to ensure the perfect folds and finish. If you have an existing track, we recommend checking compatibility before ordering.
Can I have the s-fold curtains open from either end?
Yes, you can! There are two ways to achieve this:
1. Contact Us for a Quote
We can request a "free flow" option from our workroom, allowing your curtains to open from either end. This is a great choice for modern homes with large windows or doors, giving you flexibility in how your curtains stack.
2. DIY Option
You can also modify the track yourself by adjusting the end glider:
- Remove the end cap at the end of the track.
- Unscrew the small white screw and slide out the cap.
- Slide the last glider back inside the track.
- Reattach the end cap — now your curtain can move freely in both directions!
What is the height of the s-fold track and gliders?
- The track height is 20mm.
- The total height (track + glider) is 25mm.
Where do the curtains sit on an s-fold track?
S-Fold curtains sit directly below the track. Please note that the track height is included in the total drop measurement, so no extra allowance is needed when measuring your curtain length.
Can I make the s-fold curtains fuller in width?
Due to the design of our tracks and the spacing of the track gliders, our S-Fold curtains are made with a fullness of approximately 1.5 to 1.7 times the width, creating a fold depth of around 110mm. Increasing the fullness would only deepen the folds, which could interfere with the track bracket depth. Therefore, our system does not support additional fullness beyond the standard design.
What are the bracket sizes for s-fold curtains?
Our Single S-Fold curtains have a bracket size of 100mm, while our Double S-Fold curtains have a bracket size of 150mm. Both brackets feature an adjustable slot, allowing you to modify the depth to suit your installation needs.
What is the minimum depth required for s-fold curtains?
A minimum depth of 75mm is required to ensure the curtain folds can flow smoothly without interference from the window or surrounding structures.
