When we talk about top fixing or face fixing, we’re simply referring to where you attach the brackets for your blind.
Top Fixing
You’re fixing the brackets upwards into a horizontal surface, such as:
The ceiling of the window recess
The top of a window frame
✅ Ideal if there’s not much room to fix on the front of the window
Face Fixing
You’re fixing the brackets straight onto a vertical surface, such as:
The window frame
The wall above the window
✅ Most common fitting option, and great when recess fitting isn’t possible
