We offer a great range of curtains and sheers on our website. You can select your choice of curtain heading to match the style and look that best suits your home. There are classic styles of curtain headings including Double Pinch Pleat, Pencil Pleat and Eyelet. If you're after a more contemporary look, we also offer S-Fold curtains and sheers.
Choose your fabric, then your heading, simple! Here are the technical details to help you decide which heading will work best for you and your room.
Heading Types:
Eyelet Curtains
Eyelet headings offer a contemporary look with soft folds. The eyelets themselves are 40mm diametre and are suitable for poles up to 30mm diameter. Available in nickel or antique brass colours, they will coordinate with all decors and styles. The eyelets are evenly spaced over the width of the heading and have 30mm of fabric above the top inner edge of the eyelet. This curtain will arrive ready to hang at your windows.
Pencil Pleat Curtains
This versatile heading offers fullness at the window with tighter pleats and is suitable for both poles and tracks. The heading is 75mm deep with three hook positions. This curtain will arrive flat for you to pull the heading tape strings at the end to form perfect pleats.
Pinch Pleat Curtains
Pinch pleat curtains have a classic and luxurious feel featuring permanently sewn in pleats. Suitable for both poles and tracks, the heading is 100mm deep and the hook can be glided up or down to the perfect position. This curtain will arrive ready to hang at your windows.
S-Fold Curtains
Our S-Fold curtains are simple, sophisticated and stylish. They offer gentle waves and a neat, uniform finish perfect for the modern home. Pulling back effortlessly to a small stack, they also allow lots of light to come flooding through larger windows and doors. Motorisation is available for S-Fold curtains, but please note that this system is not currently compatible with our Tuiss SmartView mobile app.
The Details
All about fullness
The curtain with the fullest look is the pencil pleat choice and we make these curtains as double width, guaranteeing a beautifully full luxurious look. Pinch pleat curtains have fixed pleats and although they look quite structured and streamlined, they are also double width. Eyelet headings and S-Fold curtains have more relaxed folds, and to achieve this contemporary look we use 1.5 width fullness.
Full lined as standard
We line all our curtains, with the exceptions of self-lined fabrics, as standard. Linings finish a curtain perfectly, enhancing both the drape and fullness of the curtain. A lining will make the back of the curtain look almost as good as the front! Blockout lining is ideal for a bedroom while standard lining is an excellent choice for other rooms in the home.
Can any of your curtains be used as a rod pocket finish?
Yes! Our Pencil Pleat curtains have an opening pocket between the gathering tape and the fabric at the top, allowing you to slide a curtain pole through for a rod pocket-style finish. However, this option is best suited for fixed window coverings, as it is not ideal for curtains or sheers that need to be opened and closed regularly.
What hem style do you provide on curtains and sheers?
All our soft furnishing curtains are finished with a double-folded bottom hem, giving them a polished and durable look.
For sheers, most feature a rolled weighted hem, helping them drape beautifully. However, some selected sheers come with a double-folded bottom hem instead.
